Our story
From 1936 to today
The house is built
A wooden house rises on a hilltop in Bujne, Pogórze Rożnowskie. Built by Mrs. Danuta's grandfather from local timber.
Discovery and purchase
Angelika and Darek find the house through a close friend. Inside — a treasure of old furniture, oil paintings, folk art. They buy it in spring.
Renovation begins
Disassembly of parts of the house. Foundation reinforcement. Restoration of wooden structural elements. Rebuilding the skeleton on the original plan.
New thatched roof
The new thatch weighs 12 tons — a traditional solution characteristic of the region. The house blends with the natural surroundings of Pogórze.
Construction completed
Hand-applied clay plaster. Blue — the traditional protective color of Małopolska cottages — becomes the leitmotif of the new interior.
Interior finishing
Original furniture restored at Lekka Furniture workshop returns to its rightful place. Old meets new — respect for history and tradition.
Renovation complete
First Christmas in the renovated house. From a ruin without water or sewage, an architectural gem is born.
The garden takes shape
Designer Krzysztof creates a garden with a pond, flowers and breathing space. First plantings begin.
Sauna, hot tub and guests
Sauna and hot tub installed. Garden design completed. First guests discover Bujne 1936. The hilltop house lives a new life.
